The retreat lasts six days and five nights. This gives us enough time to settle in, write meaningful music without being rushed, and enjoy the beauty that is Costa Rica.

The retreat takes place at our private beachfront villa on Costa de Oro (also known as Playa Coyote) in Guanacaste, Costa Rica. The property offers direct access to the beach along with a pool and several open-air spaces for writing, relaxing and spending time together.

The retreat is for songwriters, artists, producers, and anyone who wants focused time to create and collaborate with hit songwriters from Music City. It is an ideal fit for people who are passionate about music and enjoy working with others in a small-group environment.

You do not need major releases or professional credits to attend. You should have some songwriting experience, be comfortable sharing ideas and be prepared to contribute during collaborative sessions.

The retreat will be led by the Station West team alongside a rotation of accomplished professional songwriters with proven success in the music industry. Each retreat’s full creative team will be announced prior to each retreat.

Your retreat package includes transportation to and from the airport, five nights of accommodations, scheduled songwriting sessions, meals (included in the itinerary) and access to the villa’s pool, beach and common areas.

Airfare is not included. Guests are also responsible for their own travel insurance, passport or visa expenses, personal purchases, optional activities and any meals or transportation not specifically identified as part of the retreat. Guests are welcome to rent their own vehicle during their stay as well.
